Three things that even Microsoft can't explain! Must Try

An Indian found that nobody can create a FOLDER anywhere on the Computer which can be named as "CON". This is something funny and inexplicable… At Microsoft the whole Team, couldn't answer why this happened!
TRY IT NOW, IT WILL NOT CREATE A "CON" FOLDER

MAGIC #2
For those of you using Windows, do the following:
1.) Open an empty notepad file
2.) Type "Bush hid the facts" (without the quotes)
3.) Save it as whatever you want.
4.) Close it, and re-open it.
Noticed the weird bug? No one can explain!

Again this is something funny and can't be explained… At Microsoft the whole Team, including Bill Gates, couldn't answer why this happened!
It was discovered by a Brazilian. Try it out yourself…
Open Microsoft Word and type
=rand (200, 99)
And then press ENTER
And see the magic…..!

"con" is a reserved word by microsoft. 'Con' in MS land stands for Console.

Here's a list of reserved words ( i.e folders you can't create )

CON,
PRN, AUX, CLOCK$, NUL, COM1, COM2, COM3, COM4, COM5, COM6, COM7, COM8,
COM9, LPT1, LPT2, LPT3, LPT4, LPT5, LPT6, LPT7, LPT8, LPT9

Anyone with a little knowledge about Microsoft's products should know this dude.


The second one (bush) does not work for me.. i use vista..maybe it has been fixed.. must try it in VM.. anyone with XP try it and comment for others pls! I guess it has something to do with the encoding!


And btw i've read that the third one works with Mac verison of MS Word as well!

I think it's just a shortcut and not a bug. But shortcuts are not supposed to be so long and difficult to remember!lol

I don't care whether these are bugs or not, but it amused me for sure!

If you want to create a folder with these name, do the following:

1. Go to start
2. Run
3. Type "CMD" in promt
4. type "MKDIR \\.\c:\con"

#2 doesn't work for me under Windows 7 RC!!!
